Village Safe Place Programme
Village Group places significant value on the health and safety of our guests and team members, and so we have in place our ‘Village Safe Place’ programme to ensure we are meeting the highest standards available in hygiene, safety and security.
As part of our programme all apartments have their own in-room health kit containing disinfecting wipes, face masks, emergency blankets and a light stick.
First Aid
A first aid kit is available from our Customer Service team. We also have first aid trained staff on site at most times. Please contact one of our team members on 0800 50 80 25.

Emergency Procedures
Fire
If you discover a fire:
- Activate the nearest alarm
- Call the Fire Brigade – dial 111
- Evacuate the building
If the alarm rings:
- Evacuate the building using the nearest fire exit
- Help disabled people to a safe area
- Use fire-fighting equipment, only if no danger exists
- DO NOT run or pass others on the stairs
Earthquake
- Move away from windows
- Take shelter under doorways or solid furniture
- Follow all instructions given by emergency management officers
- Fire alarms may be activated during an earthquake – please await instructions prior to vacating the building
- If instructed to vacate – follow the evacuation procedures
